For ten years, BOOC, Inc. has been on the forefront of working with urban and at-risk youth. Forging ahead with an agenda of improving the lives of all children, BOOC now brings an innovative academic enhancement program to the south suburbs of Chicago. Our efforts are geared towards developing youth to become leaders in the corporate arena and in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). BOOC is proud to introduce our FIRST Robotics Team 7074 The BOOC BOTS!

The goals of the BOOC Botics Team include, but are not limited to:
 

• Provide year-round STEM activities for youth

• Provide academic assistance in order to keep youth on-point in school

• Provide local youth a safe-haven gathering place for great minds

• Develop healthy, non-threatening competitiveness in academia

• Establish and foster positive relationships between youth and community

• Develop a positive work ethic and “pro-social” value system amongst youth
   

In addition, our program offers youth the opportunity to learn the values of:
 

• Discipline and commitment in a corporate setting

• Mental focus and emotional management, and

• Success in an atypical environment
